01

Using Daylight

By accessing or using Daylight, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Daylight provides a read-only interface for viewing information from a connected Google or Outlook Calendar. You must be able to enter a binding agreement and use the service in compliance with applicable law.

02

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Daylight for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity;
  • interfere with, overload, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the service's security or access controls;
  • probe, scan, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to Daylight, its systems, or another person's data, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law;
  • use automated means to scrape or extract data in a way that burdens the service; or
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authorization to access an account or calendar.
03

Your account and responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts, devices, and sessions, and for activity performed through them. You must have the right to connect and view any calendar you authorize Daylight to access.

You remain responsible for your calendar content and for verifying important event details with the calendar provider. Daylight is a convenience view and should not be the sole source for critical, emergency, medical, legal, travel, or financial timing.

04

Availability and reliability

Daylight is provided on an as-available basis. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, network conditions, changes to Google or Microsoft services, or other events outside Daylight's control.

Daylight does not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, or that calendar data will always refresh immediately.

05

Google, Microsoft, and third-party services

Daylight depends on Google authentication and may connect to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. Your use of those services is also governed by each provider's own terms and policies. Daylight is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes they make to their APIs, features, or policies.

06

Service changes and termination

Daylight may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or the service itself. These terms may also be updated from time to time. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept those changes.

Access may be limited or terminated if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or its users, or where required by law. You may stop using Daylight at any time and disconnect your Google or Outlook Calendar from the dashboard or the provider's account settings.

07

Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daylight is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Daylight is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, except where applicable law does not allow such limitations.
